We are friendly people who joyfully serve God
For the most part, we were once
 visitors to these beautiful mountains ourselves. We visited the area churches and were particularly warmed by the friendly, outpouring nature of the people in the congregation at HUMC. They welcomed us into their fellowship with open arms and seemed overjoyed that we had chosen them to share our worship experience here in God's country. We attended their stimulating Sunday School Classes and, if we were fortunate enough to be here for a
while, the wonderful fellowship of their monthly Fellowship Lunches. We soon
 realized that we were seeing the glory of God shining in the joyful smiles on these peoples' faces. We knew that if we were ever fortunate enough to live here on a full or part-time basis, we would make HUMC our church home. Well, many of us were so blessed and are here to welcome you with open arms to our enchanted mountains! |
